Hope lifter-Book Review

I had the opportunity to receive this book called Hopelifter by Kathe Wunnenberg to read and review and  it was an enjoyable book.  We can all offer hope to someone we know by supporting them as they are going through trying times, crisis or hardships in their life. Many of books I have read in the past are generally to encourage us but this book goes beyond that and shows you how to reach out to others when they are needing encouragement in their lives. This book will lift your hope and is a great inspiration and teaching tool to help us see needs in others lives and shows us ways to meet others needs.
Sometimes when we are going through our own struggles and hardships in life we sometimes can get self absorbed.  There are other people in our life that may have a need and we all have God given talents to use to minister and help others.

This book was very enlightening. eye opening and encouraging and a great teaching tool!

My mother used to say when she was having a bad day, whether she felt discouraged, or stressed or whatever it was she would go and take someone a pie, soup or whatever she made.  That was her ministry or talent to cook and bake.  In doing so she would be blessed, she was giving hope or being a hope lifter.
In order to receive a blessing from God in our life we need to sometimes be a blessing.  I know sometimes myself I get in a rut and was in one but am so glad this book helped get me out of it.

We all have talents that are God given and we should tap into them and use them to encourage others and give hope.

Book Review-Just In Case You Ever Wonder

I had the opportunity to review this book at book sneeze and really enjoyed it.
This was an excellent children's book by Max Lucado and is a magnificent read.

I found this book excellent for children as it encourages them that the parents are there for them that no matter what happens in their lives and that they are loved. Children need to feel secure and reassured that no mater what they go through or what happens in their life that they can come to mom and dad, It tells about God's love and how he made them and on heaven .
Everyone needs to feel Secure, Encouraged, Loved and Uplifted, this book delivers these messages.
This book won a Christian book award and after reading it I can see why.

Ascent From Darkness Book Review

I found this book to be an excellent read.  It is a book about a man by the name of Micheal Leehan who was into Satanism and was on a path to destruction and God stepped in and transformed his life, from darkness to the light.
I found this book gripping and fascinating.  After reading this book you will learn that spiritual warfare is real and how God has all power over it.
Not only will you learn about a man that was bound by Satan but you will be enlightened by this true story on how Satan attacks and operates. This book was also educational.  after reading this book you will be able to have an understanding on how to witness to people that are into Satanism and be able to draw them to Christ.  This book is definately a faith builder and a real eye opener.
God is more powerful than Satan!

  When I started reading this book I could not put it down as it will keep you on the edge of your seat.  I also like that it is a true story and a real life experience.  I think every Christian should read this one.
